Ось улюблений прийом, яким Ганна поділилася з колегами в рамках конкурсу:
I teach English at a secondary school in Ukraine. My favorite activity is "M&Ms". The teacher needs to bring a packet of"M&Ms" candies to class. Each student gets a candy. A special task is assigned to each candy of a different color. For example, if you are studying a specific topic, like "Cinema " you can ask all students with red candies to answer the question "Who is your favorite actor?" All students with green candies will say how often they go to the cinema. All students with yellow candies will speak about their favorite film, etc. This activity is a great icebreaker at the first lesson with a new class. You can ask children to tell about themselves, their hobby and family using candy questions. It can also be used for grammar revision. All students with green candies write some sentences with Present Simple, with red candies- Past Simple, etc. You can modify this task according to the objective of the lesson. Good mood is guaranteed!
