If you are keen on using technology in education and would like to take your class to an exciting adventure without leaving your classroom try using Google Expeditions! Google Expeditions enable teachers to bring students on virtual trips to places like museums, underwater, and outer space. Expeditions are collections of linked VR content and supporting materials that can be used alongside existing curriculum. These trips are collections of virtual reality panoramas — 360° panoramas and 3D images — annotated with details, points of interest, and questions that make them easy to integrate into curriculum already used in schools.

The Junior Academy of the Global STEM Alliance

All Junior Academy members will be invited to gather at The New York Academy of Sciences headquarters in New York City for the second annual Global STEM Alliance Summit. Challenge finalists will receive all-expense-paid trips to attend the summit, as well as special recognition at the event and other prizes. The summit will take place over two days and include a variety of New York City cultural experiences, as well as opportunities to connect with mentors and other leading STEM professionals.
